Eric "the good", pictured here with yours truly on a recent backpacking adventure, is truly a good guy. He's as laid back as they come and doesn't get stressed out about too much, at least what he shows. He's soo relaxed, he hasn't even started packing for the trip yet. Eric will presumeably be "the voice of reason" on our adventures, however; far as I can tell, nobody has been more outspoken about us bungee jumping off of the tallest bridge in New Zealand - an 8 second free fall. Count it, that's close the maximum velocity, I believe. Never have pee'd myself going 120 mph, but maybe I'll try. We'll see, the older I get the more afraid of heights, I've become, but maybe I will succumb to peer pressure once again in my life. Eric's wife, Kristi, told me there is one thing I'm charged with doing the entire time we are down there - making sure I remind him to make daily calls on his I-phone home to her and the kids. Won't be much of a problem because whenever I see him, it's stuck to his hand, like another appendage. 2 more days.....

While traveling 120 mph towards the ground, keep your mouth closed just in case you lose control of that urethral gate.
