Finally! We just checked in to our Sydney hotel where it is 10:30am on Saturday morning. Feel like Steve Martin in Planes, Trains and automobiles, and we're just getting started. Tomorrow morning we do it all over again as we fly to Christchurch, New Zealand.
For now, its the more than necessary, shower, followed by a full day of sightseeing, in the city, as I'm sure my l'il planner has something in mind...
Last night before we left the Red Carpet Lounge, for the flight, we interacted with a couple of venerable celebrity icons: First, Sports Announcer, Dick Enberg was complimented by Shinn and proded for his predictions on the NFL Championship games, before admitting that he doesn't lend his opinions or predictions since the last time he was right was" when I picked Secretariat".
The other celeb, was Actor, Kiefer Sutherland, of "24" fame. As we watched the TV upon entering the suite, he walked by us and we asked him "What's Up?" and he said; " I'm trying to figure out what the f*ck Dr Phil knows about airplane crashes in the Hudson!" I tried to take his picture, but got screened at the last second by one of the employees who was trying to protect his privacy. Needless to say, it was a hot topic on the plane with the other passengers
