What's the plan?

okay folks hold on. Shinn here to give you the plan for the trip.

The first two days will be spent frolicking in the Sydney surf and enjoying the local cuisine. BC has his heart set on kangaroo tail while I'm looking forward to some crocky meat. Then we fly to Christchurch to hook up with the third member of our party - EG. The next day we will drive to Queenstown. A beautiful, full day drive that will take us by numerous lakes with views of Mt Cook.

We get one day in Queenstown to fill our packs with the local freeze-dried grub and get in a quick bungee or two before heading off to TeAnu where we begin our backpack adventure on the Milford Track. Four days of rain forest, towering waterfalls and magnificent views later we end our journey at Sand Fly Point then sea kayak to the Milford Sound. One night at the lodge and a boat cruise the next day before we return to Queenstown we're we actually have an entire day with nothing planned before heading up to Fox Glacier for heli-rafting and glacier ice climbing.

All that is left it a return over Arthur's Pass to Christchurch where we have two days to enjoy the tranquility of the east side shore before heading home to the brown and cold mile high city.

We will sleep in 13 different beds over 19 nights. No sense in unpacking :)

okay, this was more work than I planned. I need another beer.

shinnman out!
